Out like a lamb...? I think not!

  • This past week has just flown by.
  • I still miss my computer, but seem to have gotten a few extra "projects" done since not having it....
  • The kid's spring clothes are OUT of storage. They're not washed yet tho...hmmm, maybe this week. I realized I thought they had more clothes than they actually do. I love getting clothes ahead of time at thrift sales/on sale, etc, so when summer arrives it's not crazy trying to find all their clothes for that season.
  • Happy Anniversary to my Dad & Mom on TUESDAY!
  • We were hoping to start some plants indoors this spring...well...we haven't yet, and now I'm wondering if it's getting too late to do that??
  • When my Dad & Mom came to visit a few weeks ago they brought up my bike...I'm hoping to get some riding in this spring! Our road is in the country, so it's hilly and beautiful. I just am not too sure about how safe it is with cars going fast. I'm hoping to talk Joe into some evening rides with me =)
  • I have spring cleanup projects outside galore but am being a procrastinator with a reason...the weather's got to get nicer soon and then I'll get at it!
  • I forgot to bring my camera today to add pictures. Maybe I"ll get the chance tomorrow!

a peek from the last week(s)...

The other day Benji Carolyn & Katie came to our house for the afternoon. The weather was beautiful and they all enjoyed playing on this huge sandy hill we have alongside our driveway. Jake & Benji with their lions.
Emily & Carolyn burying some animals in the sandy hill. I wonder who will find them & when??
Katie & Meri high on the hill =)
Jake having fun making mud castles. He had a whole fort going. Oh to be a kid again =)
Mud is fun. Meri & Emily enjoying the new mud last week. It's hard for me to enjoy the effects of this season, (very muddy, dirty clothes) but the kids love it so much, how can I not let them play in it? Meri came in with dirt ALL over, I think she was pouring it over her head.

This last weekend I went to a homeschool book sale in Eau Claire, and found most of the books Jacob will use next fall (or whenever) for 1st grade. Yay! He was more excited over a huge bag of animals that Emily spotted and said "we just have to get these for Jake" There must be close to 100 animals, snakes, bugs, and more "stuff" in there. Toys like that usually end up scattered ALL over the house. oh well.

Not much new here, I'm still computerless. I decided I better take a few moments and add some new pics. I'm having difficulty with the underlining thing, I can't get it to go away, so we'll just leave it be underlined!

oh no...

Well, I have a crashed computer. Long story short, I cannot log on or get on the desktop or internet or anything. Hopefully we will take it to the dr. next week and be on our merry way. Until then, I am blogging at my MIL & SIL's mercy =) So, they may be few and far between, or well...we'll just have to see. It amazes me the irony of it all...I just got my new printer, and I got it hooked up and running as it should be to find that a couple days later my computer doesn't work. ARRGH...I may lose my pictures I had stored on it which really makes me sick. It's just one of the lessons I have to learn the hard way.
Other than that, life is going on as usual. We're all getting a bit anxious for spring, I love the warmer weather and melting snow. While at the same time, once the road bans are on, my husband is on "spring break" no logging for a while. Hmmmmm
Oh and Jake has been talking about a getting a "St. Menards" dog. Oh his big ideas ;-) I think he's thinking twice since I told him it would fill up our living room and where would he play?! I'm thinking that a dog is not too far off in our future tho'...
