Princess Meri needs 3 purses. Too many toys to fit into 1 =) I found some good deals thrift sale-ing Saturday! They had city-wide sales in Eleva. Can't pass up a princess dress or purses for my girls!!

Bubble fun on a HOT spring(?) day! It was 88* and the kids wanted to go swimming in our pool. Well, they had to settle for bubbles instead!

Meri's self portrait!
We went out and watched Joe disc the garden. Meri was slightly scared of the tractor at first, but by the time he was done she was running around with her brother & sister.
Then later that week we were back to the garden and I got to drive the tractor as Joe rode the potato planter deal....you'd think I was born & raised in the country to have seen me **ha** well, a couple rows had a 'slight' crookedness to them =)

week in pictures

Meri after a normal day of play. Did I mention we love our mud?????
The girls decided this is a good way to swing! Actually I was noticing Meri at Katie's Bday party was sitting on the swing like a big girl and actually pumping!!! Well...she was more using her body weight, not her legs to make her go, but whatever works =)

This was our project last week! Jake was a big helper, he raked up a huge pile of leaves. Actually, I cheated this year, you can see how far back the yard goes, well, I just left half of it because the kids don't really play back there as much...AND, those leaves are THICK! I guess that's why people rake twice a year. It seems rather pointless to me though because we have mostly oak trees and a lot of their leaves hang on all winter long.
Joe & Emily playing checkers.

The girls in their horse shirts. They were so excited they both had "spring" horse shirts to wear! I think Meri will...actually IS following in her big sis's footsteps and LOVES horses!

Busy kids

My little artist. She loves to do what the big kids are doing.
Jake & Emily playing Thomas card game (go fish).
We've been playing quite a few games lately. The kids love this Thomas game, we've also been playing Candyland, Hi-Ho Cheerio and Whack a mole =)
