Happy 2nd Birthday Meri!!

Here's some pics of Meri's birthday party, sorry they're not in that great of order, I'm still figuring out this stuff! It was cute, Meri didn't really know how to get the thing going at first, she just sat there and pushed the buttons and made it play music. Jake would try to explain to her how to make it go, and now by this morning she's spinning slowly

We had all of Joe's side of the family over for supper. Here is a picture of some of the kids, I had a hard time getting one of all 8 kids together. This is Katie, Emily, Benji, Meri, Carolyn and Jacob. Larissa and John are missing from this pic.

Yes it's that time of year already!

My 3 hunters =) Bow and small game hunting seasons opened last weekend. The kids were so anxious to get hunting with daddy. Meri got left behind this year, maybe next year she can tag along.

Rainy day doings--

Thought it would be fun to join the blog crowd =) Hoping to be able to stay in touch with everyone a little better and since so many of my friends and family live so far away (or maybe we're the ones that live far away...) thought this would help! I hope to add some of my many pics too so you can see what's going on in our lives and how FAST our kids are growing!

Well, today it has been raining on and on, we went and got some new library books for the kids and they want me to read them over and over. I have also managed to bake and apple pie, but still have about 3 huge bags left to do something with! Hopefully applesauce, more pies and freeze some for baking later...
