Who needs snow?

And again....they made good use of our dusting of snow a while back.  And Yes, they're hoping for a lot more! =)

As you can see, she was having alot of fun and cracking herself up!  Ah, what we go through to get 1, just 1 picture =) Actually, I'm considering doing a collage of her other poses...just for fun!

Pumpkin party

 Meri and Emily picked out "baby" pumpkins and they wanted to paint them.

We wanted to get a group shot with the pumpkins but they weren't dry, so here's my kids a bit later with their pumpkins!

 The other munchkin refused her picture.  This tree they're sitting on is ONE of the trees that blew down in the windstorm a few weeks back.  I think we had a total of 3 trees down. 

It was a beautiful day, I think we're spoiled, I mean, it IS the middle of November (almost) and this IS WI.

Last week we had a fun visit from my mom and sister and her family.  The kids were thrilled to see their cousins!  We even got in a few games of Dutch Blitz! It was a short but sweet visit =)

I forgot to get a picture of the finished product, but we got 20 quarts of canned applesauce!  Yay!  I usually freeze applesauce, but decided to can this year (about the 2nd time I've ever canned anything), so...I can do it =) 

The house smelled wonderful.  It makes me want to cook yummy things more often!
