Happy Hopper

Meet Happy Hopper, the kids pet rabbit. We got the rabbit a while ago from their Grandpa & Grandma Ben & Linda. This past weekend, Jacob helped Joe build a nice new cage for him. Jacob just loves to build things and he loves building with wood and can use a hammer and nails, so this was the perfect project for him and his dad =) The kids really love the bunny and he's so friendly, he'll let us hold and pet him. A lot of fun for the kids!!!

It is such a beautiful fall day today, I'd love to be outside all day. The kids have been out a lot so far, I'm thinking about raking, but probably will just keep thinking about it for a while. There are still a FEW leaves on the trees =)

update

It's been a while since I've posted....I guess there's not a whole lot to post. We're trying to survive a nasty round of the stomach flu these last few days. Jacob caught it on Thursday and then we skipped Friday, now today Emily has it. She usually gets it really bad where she will throw up every 1/2 hour whether or not anything comes up =-( I feel so bad for them. Meri is currently a ticking time bomb....

Before that all happened we had taken some new fall pictures of all the kids, I will try to get some posted sometime, when we decide which ones we're going with. I think they turned out pretty cute, we love the fall colors in them.

multi-purpose...

This is hilarious, we have 2 huge squashes. I had set them on the floor because I didn't have room on the counter. Well, Meri sees them right away as new toys! She lugged those things all over the place, I'm surprised she didn't drop it on her toe, but it was so cute to see her playing with them. She brought them into the living room and set them down with her babies and then she was rolling them around! Wonder what she was thinking =o)

My littlest big helper

This is my littlest big helper. She loves doing the dishes with me. Every time she sees me even over by that counter she'll run and try to pull up a chair. She'll drag it over a ways and then it's Mama--chair... she ends up soaking wet, and the chair and the floor, but it keeps her happy to help me for a while...

Convention Days

Convention was wonderful again this year (of course).
We went on SO many walks! Good way for the kids to burn off some energy and hopefully sleep in meeting. This didn't really happen with the older two, but Meri usually slept most of the afternoon meeting. Here we were walking with our kids and Benji and Carolyn.
The kids were excited to see their "bigger" cousins =) Here's Jacob, Luke, Erika, Meri, Maria and Emily.
