Happy 5th Birthday James!!!!

 My little boy, how much you've grown in the past year!

 You can't tell from the picture, but there's a very steep drop off in front of them.  I think Joe was hanging on pretty tightly!

 He is SO into Legos and building things lately.  Love it!

And this picture is a throwback from about 1 year ago.  He's changed a lot!!!

James is growing and changing so much.  He likes to do school, (most days) He is in 4K at home, of course =)  He especially likes his "Explode the Code" books and is literally, flying through them!  They are a phonics-based approach to reading, and he flew through the ABC Pre-reading books, to learn the sounds of the letters and a bit of writing etc.  I'm so proud of him!  He's now on Book 1, and learning to sound out short words, (mat, bat, hat, etc)!  I also use "Teach your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons" which he likes too. 
He loves to sled outside and play with the baby goats.  His favorite goat is Candy Cane (I think because of it's candy cane shape on its body =))  He is very into playing games lately, his favorites are the horse game (Emily got it for her birthday) and Sorry.  He's also played Battleships, which he likes.
