Baby is walking!

Yes he is!  Just wanted to share the exciting news!  Picture/video soon =)

 Mr. Snowman was made and melted all in a day!  Poor thing

 It was that time of year again. 

What...?! They're all looking, how did THAT happen anyhow???

**Like maybe MOST of the people in this area, we are ANXIOUS for spring.  The snow and cold is getting old.  This past weekend it happened to be snowing and even though I'd rather it didn't at least I can still see the beauty in the snow covering the trees and falling from the sky.  And, we were talking about how thankful we are to live in a place that experiences 4 seasons and has change!  (Just one season is a leeeetle too long).  Anyhow.

**We've been busy cleaning out the loft (our storage area)!  Feels GREAT to move things out.  And I do mean "things". Too much is not good.  We had things that hadn't seen the light of day for years.  So, why are they here?  It's great to get rid of those things.  We still have plently of things (clothes) waiting for the kids to grow into.  Some stuff you just need I guess.

**School is going good... I have 2 readers which is an amazing feeling!  To see them reading and know that I was the one that taught them!  Not to be "bragging" but as a homeschooling mom, at least for myself, there was a part of me wondering if I could actually teach them this....

*The kids love love love to follow baby James.  He is getting quite fast in crawling to mischief...no walking yet, but he's started to CLIMB and walks with help...soon I know ;-)

This horse has been through a lot...(note missing eye) he's starting to like it until he can't get off or falls off.

Would anyone like this present? 

WE LOVE THESE BOOKS!!!!   BOB books are great for beginning readers...Emily does really well reading these books, they are building her confidence in reading and she doesn't get frustrated reading them, so it is AWESOME! 

Jake having some army time.  He takes what he can get, meaning when James is taking a nap, hurry, get it all set up and play!

*We're enjoying the new snow (kinda...and mostly the kids;-) We all got a ride on the snowmobile sled during the storm this weekend.  Awesome fun except for the snow blowing into your face!

So, my glasses are missing a nose-pad-thingy.  I put my contacts in and headed into the living room where my son wasn't real sure if it was me or not...at any rate, we played peekabo with the camera and it was funny.
