Zoo

 This swan was out in the middle of the lake when we stopped but made a beeline for us.  We did what any tourist would do...

 Quick lets feed the swan!  Luckily we had some leftover chips and stuff in the car.  It wasn't picky.  We got it to come up on the shoreline.

 These mountain lions were amusing...since they were behind the fence!  They would pace back and forth growling.   

 Annndd...time to chase the ducks!

They had 2 wolves in this pen.  This one was large--much larger than it looks here.

A few weeks ago we went to the logging congress in oshkosh.  On our trip back, we stopped in Marshfield at their little zoo.  We've been wanting to get to the zoo all summer--esp. Madison or Milw. zoo!  but somehow the summer slipped by us again.  So we decided to check this one out and were glad we stopped.  They had basic animals, no elephants, penguins, giraffes.  But lots of woodland animals, although their bear had recently died and wasn't replaced yet=(  But they had elk, deer, buffalo, prairie dogs, rabbits, eagle, owl, hawk, .....and more.  The kids had a blast running around and well, chasing ducks ;-)
